Part of Election Fever 2018. Presented in partnership with Mic
Since launching multimedia reporting project Walking While Trans in 2017, which explores the diverse and nuanced experiences of trans individuals navigating public spaces, Mic.com correspondent Serena Daniari received an outpouring of questions and comments from people across the gender spectrum inquiring about what it means to be a trans person in the 21st century.
In response, she created Transplaining, a weekly advice column designed to open minds and amplify trans issues.
In this exclusive special live edition of Transplaining, Daniari will be joined by guests to dive into trans issues and present authentic trans stories.
