At this live interview series, gonzo gay journalist David Goldberg sits down for candid conversations with the brightest stars of NYC's queer artistic community. Drag artists, comedians, actors, writers and activists join the former Time Out editor and The Luminaries podcast host to discuss their inspirations, their fears and their careers.

We're launching with special guests Marie Faustin and Sydnee Washington, hosts of The UnOfficial Expert Podcast, a show where Faustin & Washington sit down with people of the culture who claim to be experts in a variety of different topics, and test them during the interview to prove their authenticity.

David Goldberg is a writer and performer living in Brooklyn, NY. He writes about comedians, superheroes, divas and princes. His work appears in publications like Time Out New York and Vulture. Follow him on Twitter.

Marie Faustin is a NY-based comedian, actress and one of the fastest rising talents on the comedy scene. In 2018, Vulture named her a “Comedian You Should Know.” She was chosen as a "New Face of Comedy" at the international Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal in 2017. Marie has appeared on Comedy Central, GQ Magazine, MTV, VH1, The BET Awards and TruTV. In 2016, Marie became the host of Oxygen's Very Real Talk. She's a regular feature in Time Out NY and is the on-air host of 99.5FM's "Tall Tales in the Big City." Marie also co-hosts the weekly podcast: The Unofficial Expert as well as the weekly comedy showcase Comedy at the Knit at The Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, NY.

Sydnee Washington was born in New York City but spent most of her childhood in Oakland, California. She was recently honored as an “UpNext” comedian at Comedy Central’s Clusterfest.  She co-hosts a super high energy and hilarious monthly Comedy show in the Lower East Side called 'Hot Box Comedy', where she consistently wins over the jaded New Yorkers who brave the city’s comedy scene. Her humor and view toward vanity, dating both sexes, and how to party safely as a woman are both unique and refreshing. Washington is a cast member in MTV's international tv show "Vidiots", has a solo show called "Death of a Bottle Girl", co-hosts the very popular podcast "The UnOfficial Expert”, and has appeared on TruTv VH1 and various YouTube videos for GQ, Cosmo, and Elite Daily.
