Primary Care
Housing Works believes that all New Yorkers should have access to regular doctor visits. We offer clients a choice of stand-alone medical services or a holistic primary care program that also includes meals, counseling, wellness, and other supportive services.
-
Mental Health
Housing Works offers comprehensive psychiatric and psychological health services designed to help our clients battle addiction, poverty, stigma and, of course, HIV/AIDS.
-
Dental Clinic
Housing Works knows that oral health is a critical issue for low-income New Yorkers. Our full-service, specialized HIV dental clinic helps improve our clients’ general health—and their smiles.
-
Transgender Health Services
Housing Works understands the complex medical, mental health, and emotional needs of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities. We provide specialized care that improves the health and well-being of LGBT individuals living with HIV and AIDS.
-
Empowerment Wellness Program
Housing Works provides support groups, academic and vocational education, and life skills courses that help prepare our clients for independent living. We also run evening programs that offer a meaningful alternative to the city streets.
-
Adult Day Health Care
Housing Works’ four Adult Day Health Care centers are “one-stop-shops” that specialize in meeting all the medical, housing and psycho-social needs of homeless and low-income New Yorkers living with HIV and AIDS
