Invitation: Campaign to End AIDS Five-Year Anniversary
We would like to formally invite you to participate in the Campaign To End AIDS Five Year Anniversary April 18 to 21.
The agenda (below) includes four days of advocacy & activism, remembrance and revival, looking back and moving forward. Joining us will be some of the C2EA Pioneers with many of the young superstars and survivors together developing strategies that will build on past and current actions with the goals of:
1. Fully fund quality treatment and support services for all people living with HIV everywhere;
2. Ramp up HIV prevention at home and abroad, guided by science rather than ideology;
3. Increase research to find a cure, more effective treatments and better prevention tools;
4. Fight AIDS stigma and protect the civil rights of all people with HIV and AIDS everywhere;
5. Understand the vital role housing plays in prevention and treatment and incorporate housing as a structural intervention for both.
We will celebrate our diversity and depth while refueling C2EA’s mission of challenging our elected and social leaders to acquire the political will to change policies toward ending this horrible epidemic once and for all. Whether it’s in on nation’s capitol, the plains of north Texas, or the streets of San Francisco, we look forward to your participation as we continue the echoing chants of “End AIDS Now! End AIDS Now! End AIDS Now!”
We will continue to fight for the civil and social rights of people living with HIV & AIDS and remembering that AIDS is not over until it’s over for everyone.
