C2EA Woman’s Summit Approaches With Strong Goals

The Campaign To End AIDS Woman’s Advocacy & Leadership Summit is a 4-day advocacy revival session created by and for women to take their rightful place in the HIV & AIDS advocacy movement. It will take place from October 14-17, 2010 in Reno Nevada. This summit will focus on mobilizing women around the country to get involved in local and national advocacy ranging from the National HIV & AIDS Strategy, violence against women and its role in feeding the epidemic to including and integration of women in research and policy decision making. Between 55-60 women will come to the summit with a plan of how they will continue these efforts on a local level and how they plan to integrate their local work with national efforts.
