Housing Works: Housing Prevents AIDS. Housing Improves Health.

The Transgender Transitional Housing Program (TTHP) provides transitional housing to transgender and gender-variant individuals living with HIV/AIDS. The program maintains leases on 23 scatter-site apartments in the East New York, Bushwick, Bedford-Stuyvesant, Crown Heights, and East Flatbush areas of Brooklyn. This past year, TTHP provided housing and services to 36 people of transgender experience, twelve of whom were placed in permanent housing.
