Housing Works: Housing Prevents AIDS. Housing Improves Health.

Opened in October 2008 and renovated partly by Housing Works’ property management company Gotham Assets, Stand-Up Harlem House is located in two classic brownstones on 130th St in Harlem. One brownstone features 12 permanent studio apartments for single adults living with HIV and AIDS, with common areas and a spacious back yard. Across the street, the other brownstone provides two two-bedroom apartments and two three-bedroom apartments to families with children in which at least one of the parents is living with HIV/AIDS.
