The Cylar House Health Center was founded in 1997 as the East 9th Street facility, and was renamed in 2006 in memory of Housing Works cofounder Keith D. Cylar, who died of AIDS-related causes in 2004.
The Cylar House Health Center houses residents living with HIV/AIDS. In addition, clients receive services from the Adult Day Health Center medical care are offered on site. The beautiful, spacious premises also houses the kitchen for The Works Catering.
