WAYS TO DISAPPEAR Launch Event with Idra Novey and Nell Freudenberger

Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 7:00pm

Join us for the launch of acclaimed poet-translator Idra Novey’s debut novel, Ways to Disappear, about a legendary Brazilian novelist, mired in gambling debt, who goes missing and the American translator who sets off to find her. Called a “tour de force” by Kirkus Reviews, Ways to Disappear is an irresistible combination of mystery, romance, noir and humor that takes readers on a wild chase from snowy Pittsburgh to sultry Rio. Idra Novey will be in conversation with novelist Nell Freudenberger, author of The Newlyweds, The Dissident, and Lucky Girls. Complimentary food and drinks while they last. Books for sale from our friends at WORD Bookstore.
