The Pitchfork Review Celebrates Issue 3 with Readings, Music, and More

On August 14, Pitchfork celebrates the release of Issue 3 of its new print quarterly, The Pitchfork Review. There will be a live solo set by Dee Dee from Dum Dum Girls along with readings by Mark Richardson, Jenn Pelly, and Lindsay Zoladz, and DJing by Richard Pretty.


Mark Richardson, Pitchfork's Editor-in-Chief, has been writing for Pitchfork since 1998 and his column Resonant Frequency has appeared here since 2001. He is the author of Zaireeka. Born and raised Mid-Michigan, he now lives in Brooklyn.

Jenn Pelly is a staff writer at Pitchfork. She is at work on her first book, a volume in the 33 1/3 series on The Raincoats.

Pitchfork Associate Editor Lindsay Zoladz has been writing for Pitchfork since 2011. Her writing has also appeared in The Believer, Slate, Bitch, Salon, the Washington City Paper, and more. She lives in Brooklyn.

Pitchfork Reviews Editor Larry Fitzmaurice, aka DJ Richard Pretty, resides in Brooklyn and joined Pitchfork full time in March of 2010; in addition to his work for Pitchfork, he's also contributed writings to SPIN, NME, GQ, and Tiny Mix Tapes.
