Howard Fishman’s “Basement Tapes” Project had its inception as three-night marathon at Joe’s Pub at the Public Theater, where he and his band performed the group of over sixty songs comprising Bob Dylan & The Band’s complete “Basement Tapes”. The project has since played Lincoln Center and Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theater and excerpts have been released as a live CD/DVD from Monkey Farm Records.
This special one-night only performance will also include select authors reading from material about original Basement Tapes.
