Housing Works Playhouse presents a special performance by children’s music stars John Carlin & The Kids Music Underground. John Carlin has been a respected songwriter, educator, and performer in NYC for more than a decade. He performs family concerts, solo, and with his band, selling out esteemed venues and festivals – The Living Room, Southpaw, Madison Sq. Park, Bay Street Theatre, World Café Live – and being voted “one of the best kids’ bands in NYC.” ( TimeOutNY Kids)

John says: “I want to teach kids about global cultures through music. Make this Big World a little smaller and more accessible to little people, in fun and groovy ways. Why not make music that parents can truly appreciate and enjoy too, and not just tolerate? After all, they have to listen to it 30 times on the roadtrip to Grandma’s.”

$10 for adults and kids over 1. Babies on laps are free.
