Ménage à Twang, “Brooklyn’s hilarious lady-country trio” (Salon.com), invites you and yours to join us for an alt-Valentines extravaganza for single ladies, queers of all stripes, Beyoncé fans, and anyone else looking to add some three-part harmonies and matching outfits to their pre-Valentines celebration.
Come by at 7 pm for hot pink punch, DIY valentines, a full and fully-countrified set of Destiny’s Child covers, as well as a full-length, bluegrass-infused set of Ménage originals about love and dating, including brand new songs and all your old favorites. We’ll also be welcoming Tim Ryan on the upright bass and Woodpecker’s Al Huang and Jordan Anderson, as well as their mandolin and banjo stylings, to the stage. If you’ve ever wanted another woman to back off your back up sperm, felt like yodeling during a round of speed dating, or needed to put someone on the back burner, then you can be sure we’ve got the right Valentines event for you.
