Celebrate Brendan Jay Sullivan's debut book, the memoir Rivington Was Ours: Lady Gaga, the Lower East Side, and the Prime of Our Lives with a discussion and stories of a neighborhood in constant flux in the 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s and beyond. Featuring Will Hermes (Love Goes to Buildings on Fire: Five Years in New York that Changed Music Forever), Dave Hill (Tasteful Nudes), Elna Baker (This American Life), Brendan Jay Sullivan, and moderated by Alan Light (The Holy or the Broken: Leonard Cohen, Jeff Buckley, and the Unlikely Ascent of 'Hallelujah').

Presented in collobaration with WORD Bookstores, who will be selling books.

Brendan Jay Sullivan, aka DJ VH1, is a writer, producer, and DJ best known for his work with Lady Gaga. He has written for Esquire, Vice, and Interview in the States and L'Optimum and L'Officiel Hommes in France. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.
