Event Proceeds
Proceeds from Design on a Dime will benefit Housing Works’ newest supportive housing development, the Hull Street Residence. Hull Street is a from-the-ground-up housing development project that will transform a vacant 6,000 sq ft. lot, into a beautiful and safe home for 30 single, formerly homeless adults living with HIV/AIDS.
Like all of our residences, Hull Street will incorporate sustainable design and construction techniques, including the use of no-VOC paint, energy star appliances, LED lighting, tiles made from recycled material, and FSC-certified wood. Hull Street is designed to be a place where residents will be excited to live in, not a place of last resort.
Since 2005, Design on a Dime has served as an integral fundraiser to sustain Housing Works’ lifesaving services, raising more than $5 million in support of program initiatives to empower the lives of individuals living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.
