Mary Foley and Michael Cox have been designing sumptuous interiors both domestically and abroad for more than 15 years. Their New York design studio specializes in exclusive residential projects as well as luxurious yachts and private aircraft interiors. Projects have been published widely, in publications including Town & Country, Elle Décor, Shelter, Traditional Home, Architectural Digest Germany, Hamptons Cottages & Gardens and New York Spaces among others.
In 2008 the pair embarked on their first retail venture, launching foley&cox HOME in Hudson, NY. Offering customers a selection of fine antiques and home luxuries from the resources and artisans they have identified all over the world, foley&cox HOME has quickly become a major resource and inspiration for interior designers nationwide.
Prior to starting their own firm, Mary and Michael worked independently and together at Polo/Ralph Lauren. As a Vice President in Creative Services, Mary worked in many capacities including showroom and store design and special events, as well as on the homes of the Lauren family. Michael was Design Director of Furniture in the Home Division. The two were brought together to launch Ralph Lauren Interiors, which they ran until they both left Ralph Lauren in 2002 to create foley&cox Interiors.
Mary resides in New York City and in Southampton. Michael resides in New York City and in Columbia County, NY.
