de la Torre Design Studio

Ernest de la Torre represents a timeless style that blends traditional and modern influences around a passion for art and design. His approach to design is one-of-a-kind and firmly rooted in a vision that enables him to design works of art. Ernest’s bold influence and approach have established him as an interior designer who consistently breaks new ground for clients.

His passion influenced by the classic architecture of David Adler and Mies van der Rohe, de la Torre embarked on his design career at Peter Marino Architects in New York, and later bolstered his knowledget through graduate studies at Sotherby’s Find and Decorative Arts in London. De la Torre further honed his architectural vision by teaming with Ian Schrager to reconstruct the Library of the Morgans Hotel in New York City. He later joined the Ralph Lauren Home Division, creating new furniture, lighting, tabletop and textile concepts.

De la Torre found his own design studio in 2001 and has since completed significant homes in Manhattan, Palm Beach and Greenwich, CT. He currently works with a staff of 4 and a collaboration architect, specializing in designing spaces around unique collections of art.
