Often ‘refreshing’ his mother’s house before she returned home from work, Bob got his inspirations from old movies and attic treasures. He began collecting antiques at the age of 7, while tagging along with his older brother, thus beginning a life-long love affair with garage sales, flea markets and thrift shops.

Seven days per week, seven stores (and counting), 365 days per year….that’s a lot of props these three talented individuals get from the work they do for Housing Works Thrifts Online Auctions. You might see them on any given day, stuffed into a small space, armed and sweaty with staple gun, laptop and digital camera. Each of these three brings a vast amount of creativity, experience and heart to the daily task as professionals, artists and activists.
