Bob Richter
Bob Richter’s love of design has been ingrained in him since he was a latchkey kid in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Often ‘refreshing’ his mother’s house before she returned home from work, Bob got his inspirations from old movies and attic treasures. He began collecting antiques at the age of 7, while tagging along with his older brother, thus beginning a life-long love affair with garage sales, flea markets and thrift shops.

David Cafiero is the principal designer and proprietor of Cafiero Select, a full-service interiors firm as well as an antique shop and gallery in New York’s East Village. He has worked on a variety of both commercial and residential projects since the firm’s inception in 2003, many of which have been published internationally.

Housing Works Visuals
“Who does your amazing windows?” It’s a question asked at least 3 times a day. Or, “I walk by here just to see what you guys come up with”. Seven days per week, seven stores (and counting), 365 days per year….that’s a lot of props these three talented individuals get from the work they do for Housing Works Thrifts Online Auctions. You might see them on any given day, stuffed into a small space, armed and sweaty with staple gun, laptop and digital camera. Each of these three brings a vast amount of creativity, experience and heart to the daily task as professionals, artists and activists.

He’s held the position of Corporate Visual Director with such companies as The Limited Brands, Giorgio Armani and Donna Karan.

In September of 2007, Bartlett opened his first branded flagship store. Situated in the heart of the West Village, the store houses a full range of product centering around Bartlett’s signature sportswear – while offering made to measure clothing – and exclusive to the store furnishings. Bartlett also envisions the store as a breeding ground of related creativity and will be collaborating with a diversity of local artisans to create one of a kind ceramics, scent, hand screened tshirts and other curiosities.

Raised in Austin, Texas and Mexico with a Masters of Fine Art from the University of Illinois Chicago and a BFA from The School of the Art Institute, Juniper Tedhams’ design work has been equally influenced by nearly fifteen years in the antiques business. Early work with an architectural restoration firm and numerous antiques dealers in Chicago and London honed a keen eye for architectural purity and a deep understanding of the importance of balance in good design.
