Patrick James Hamilton Design
Patrick J. Hamilton is an interior designer, blogger, writer, stylist, and art consultant, living and working in Manhattan. He is a specialist in small-space solutions unique to Manhattan living, but comfortable designing projects both large and small, from furniture plans to gut renovations. He enjoys working with a wide range of styles, from contemporary to traditional.
Hamilton demonstrates his signature “Invest, Save &?Splurge” approach in all his interiors. He brings an innovative, colorful and fresh perspective to each and every project, drawing from a wide range of inspiration, creating environments that are functional, comfortable, and highly expressive of each individual client.
His work has been seen on HGTV (“Small Space, Big Style” and “Rate My Space”), HGTV.com, HouseBeautiful.com, TheKitchn.com, Ohdeedoh.com, and ApartmentTherapy.com, and has twice appeared in the pages of Traditional Home.
Hamilton has created two rooms in Manhattan’s Holiday House Design Showhouse, and was a featured designer in the 2015 “Art of the Table,” for Bilotta Kitchens and Traditional Home.
He was the winner of Apartment Therapy’s first annual “Smallest, Coolest Home” contest, and the winner of the first Bloomingdale’s “Big Window Challenge.”

Hamilton attended the Rhode Island School of Design where he received his Bachelors Design degree with honors. He spearheaded and appeared in “It Gets Better: NYC Designing Men,” a video for the It Gets Better Project supporting The Trevor Project.
