Patrick James Hamilton is an interior designer, blogger, humorist, activist, writer, stylist and fine art consultant living and working in Manhattan. He is a specialist in small-space solutions unique to Manhattan living, but comfortable working on projects both large and small. He enjoys working with a wide range of styles, from contemporary to traditional. Hamilton demonstrates his signature “Invest, Save &?Splurge” approach in all his interiors. He brings an innovative, fresh perspective to each and every project, and draws from a wide range of inspiration in his work, creating environments that are functional, comfortable, and highly expressive of each individual client.

His work has been seen on HGTV (“Small Space, Big Style” and “Rate My Space”),,,,, and He was the winner of Apartment Therapy’s first annual “Smallest, Coolest Home” contest, and the winner of the first Bloomingdale’s “Big Window Challenge.” He has styled features and photo shoots for Ladies Home Journal, The Alpha Workshops, and Florida Home & Garden. Hamilton also blogs about residential makeovers and Interior Design industry events on his blog, He is a New York contributor to ApartmentTherapy, where he shoots and writes House Tours, and has also covered the ICFF, interviewed design world luminaries and covered the second season of HGTV’s “Design Star.”

He’s been a lively and well-followed member of the AT community as “patrick (the other one).” Hamilton attended the Rhode Island School of Design where he received his Bachelors Design degree with honors. He recently spearheaded and appeared in “It Gets Better: NYC Designing Men,” a video for the It Gets Better Project supporting The Trevor Project.
