  Housing Works’ seasonal shopping events (formerly known as “Previews”) are back at the Thrift Shops, August 30th through September 27th!

  • Supporter Members ($480) and above get VIP early access an hour before the opening time for the general public.
  • Advocate Members ($120) and above get VIP early access 30 minutes before the opening time for the general public.

• Membership Changes

  Reminder:
  Starting September 1st

  The 10% member discount will be discontinued at the Thrift Shops and on shophousingworks.com, but will continue at the Bookstore Cafe. Instead, for Advocate and above members, the Thrift Shops will offer 30% off when signing-up in-store and discount days/months periodically throughout the year, both in stores and online, including ongoing 25% Sundays and 10% off during the months of February, June, and August.

  When signing-up in-store, customers will no longer be able to choose monthly payments, but this option will continue to be offered online. The only way to sign-up in-store will be by paying the full annual amount at the register.

  New York’s most design-forward address is 540 West 28th Street for two more weekends this spring as ELLE DECOR presents the Modern Life Concept House with partner LX.TV Open House. Located between 10th and 11th Avenues, the Concept House features 10 designers who have partnered with leading brands to create dazzling indoor and outdoor spaces that offer a fresh approach to contemporary living.

  The Concept House is open to the public for two more weekends: May 27, 28, 29, 30 and June 3, 4, 5. Visiting hours are 10am-4pm.
