    Wimbledon on the Hudson

    Special thanks to all the members, donors, sponsors, volunteers, staff, and tennis players and spectators who helped make the first annual Wimbledon on the Hudson a huge success! And congratulations to our Champion, Stuart Framm, and our Runner-Up, Daryl Fox!

    On Monday, June 14, 2010, 17 tennis players came together at the Roosevelt Island Racquet Club to compete in Housing Works’ first-ever tennis tournament fundraiser. It proved to be a fun-filled evening of exciting round-robin doubles play, raffle prizes, special awards, and champagne and strawberries – and all for a lifesaving cause: more than $5K (and counting…!) was raised to support Housing Works’ services for homeless and low-income people living with HIV/AIDS, in New York and beyond.
