  • Thank You!

Each quarter, Book Riot donates 2% of its gross revenue to one charity. After being nominated and selected as one of five finalists to receive this donation this quarter, Housing Works won more than 50% of the votes during the November 22nd through December 5th period of public voting on bookriot.com. Therefore, with this strong majority of votes, we are pleased to announce that Housing Works has been officially chosen as Book Riot’s first-ever “We Practice Charity” Beneficiary.

Thank you to the Housing Works community — we could not have done it without your support (and, of course, your votes)!

We are grateful to Book Riot for this opportunity and their commitment to charitable giving.

Congratulations and many thanks to all. Way to go …

  • Give a second chance. Give the gift of Housing Works Membership.

Don’t make it another year filled with socks and ties. This holiday season, give something meaningful that can actually make a difference in people’s lives.

Plus, when you give the gift of membership, we’ll send you a special gift in thanks. Choose from either our limited-edition thermal mug to help you warm up this winter, or our new tote bag to help carry all that holiday shopping!

    Fashion Saves Lives!

Help us provide life-saving services for men and women living with HIV/AIDS by supporting Fashion for Action — a four-day designer sale and benefit for Housing Works.

With the support of companies like yours, last year’s benefit was our most successful fashion fundraiser ever. We raised nearly $400,000 toward quality medical care and supportive services for women affected by HIV/AIDS.

But there’s much more to do…and more lives to save.

This year, we have set our sites even higher and are moving the event from our Chelsea store to the Altman Building in Chelsea. This will provide us with the space to make sure this year’s fundraiser is the biggest ever.

Please commit to donating your fashion and beauty items today by completing …
