Your voices and power are needed!
The NY Senate is proposing a 5% or $416 million in New York’s s Medicaid optional services which will jeopardize the health of millions of vulnerable New Yorkers!
Medicaid optional services include:
Prescription Drugs Community Based Medical And Behavioral Health Clinics Case Management Services Dental Care Transportation Hospice Personal Care OT, PT, Speech Therapies Eye Care, Medical Equipment, Hearing Services Self-directed Personal Assistance Community First Choice servicesWith the budget being finalized within next week, WE NEED LOTS OF CALLS TODAY!
Call Senate leaders Dean Skelos at 518-455-3171; Jeffrey D. Klein at 518-455-3595; and Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver at 518-455-4911 and leave the following message:
“I’m a registered voter calling from (your locality) urging you to reject proposed cuts to essential optional Medicaid services that will jeopardize the health of millions of vulnerable New Yorkers”!
