Campaign to End AIDS

Founded in 2005, the Campaign to End AIDS (C2EA) mobilizes activists to demand that our leaders throughout the world exert the political will to stop the epidemic.

Campaign to End AIDS

The Campaign to End AIDS

The Campaign to End AIDS (C2EA) is a diverse coalition of people living with HIVand AIDS, their advocates and loved ones. (Housing Works is a founding member of the coalition.) Together, we’re demanding that our leaders exert the political will to stop the epidemic, in the U.S. and abroad. In small towns and big cities across America, we’re mobilizing to ensure the best treatment and care for all HIV-positive people and the use of HIV prevention methods backed by science.

We demand that our leaders…

1. Fully fund quality treatment and support services for all people living with HIV everywhere.
2. Ramp up HIV prevention at home and abroad, guided by science rather than ideology.
3. Increase research to find a cure, more effective treatments and better prevention tools.
4. Fight AIDS stigma and protect the civil rights of all people with HIV and AIDS everywhere.

Since 2005, we’ve urged lawmakers to…

1. Reauthorize and fully fund the Ryan White CARE Act.
2. Keep Medicaid strong for people with HIV/AIDS and all other beneficiaries.
3. Strengthen the global fight against AIDS by fully funding the Global Fund and backing 100 percent debt cancellation.
4. Restore and revive effective HIV prevention worldwide based on the best science.
