Impact Litigation
Housing Works conducts impact litigation on issues critical to the AIDS and health care community, including disability, homelessness, public assistance benefits and transgender discrimination. These cases, in addition to affecting the lives of the plaintiffs, are precedent-setting cases designed to affect large numbers of people and bring about meaningful social change. Housing Works has won numerous landmark decisions.
